Are recruiters employed by Saint Francis?
Yes.  ‘In-house” recruiting is one of the responsibilities of the Physician Recruitment and Relations department. They assist the physician practices in the Grand Island community with recruitment of physicians in accordance with the Medical Staff Development Plan. We prefer to work with physician directly and without the assistance of recruiting agencies.

What if my specialty is not listed with your open positions?
If your specialty is not listed in our current available opportunities, feel free to contact us or submit your CV to be given consideration when a position opens in your field. This allows us to make further inquiries on your behalf when appropriate.

How would you prefer I submit my CV to you?
We prefer to receive your CV via email as a .pdf file or Microsoft Word document, although we are happy to receive your CV by fax or mail.

Can you contact me outside of normal business hours?
We frequently contact physicians on evenings or weekends and would be glad to arrange a convenient time to speak with you.

Can you keep my contact with you confidential?
We understand and respect your position in your current practice and will absolutely keep your inquiries confidential. Please make us aware of any special requests when contacting us.

Are your jobs employed or private practice?
We offer a variety of employed and private practice opportunities. Employed physicians are hired by The Physician Network, which is owned by Catholic Health Initiatives and affiliated with Saint Francis Medical Center and our sister facilities in Nebraska.
