More than 400 volunteers from Grand Island and surrounding area donate nearly 50,000 hours annually to Saint Francis Medical Center. Volunteers are a valuable addition to our ministry and you can find them greeting guests, assisting patients, offering spiritual care, caring for children in our daycare, and serving as members of our Auxiliary and Boards, Volunteers demonstrate our values and our standards of conduct daily. Their commitment to patients and families helps us fulfill our mission. All volunteer activities are coordinated through the Volunteer Services department. If you have a special talent or skill you would like to share, please contact the Volunteer Services department to discuss the possibilities. All volunteers are required to complete volunteer orientation prior to volunteering at Saint Francis. Teens 14 years or older can apply to volunteer at Saint Francis Medical Center. There are opportunities for teen volunteers in the summer as well as throughout the school year. 2012 Adult Volunteer Orientation Dates Offered the second Tuesday of every other month starting in January
