View our video about the Saint Francis Alcohol & Drug Treatment Center.

The Saint Francis Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center (ADTC) is a primary treatment setting for people age 14 and older who are suffering from alcohol or drug dependency and/or related problems. Our mission is to help individuals and families identify and implement a plan of recovery from substance abuse or dependency. The entire counseling staff is licensed as alcohol & drug abuse counselors.

The ADTC philosophy is based on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and participation in 12-Step Recovery support groups.

Evaluations

A complete substance abuse evaluation is typically the entryway into our services. These evaluations assist us in determining the most appropriate level and intensity of care for each patient.

Family Services

We offer a variety of services in order to help families learn about the disease of alcoholism and understand the level of treatment their loved ones are receiving through family education groups.

The Continuum of Care

The Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center offers all levels of care to both adults and adolescents. Programs involve individual, group, family and educational sessions. Clients are often transitioned from more intensive to less intensive levels of care as they progress in the recovery process.

Residential Program

This program offers variable lengths of stay and is the most intensive level of treatment. Clients needing this level of care often are unable to maintain abstinence without 24-hour supervision and require intensive treatment intervention. Clients remain in residential care until successful transition to lesser level of care is warranted. The average length of stay can vary from five to 28 days.

Partial Hospitalization

This is an outpatient level of care that requires the client to attend programming at least eight hours a day. This is an excellent option for those clients who do not require the intensity of residential care, but are not yet ready to return to work or school.

Intensive Outpatient

Clients in this program attend programming at least four days out of the week for at least four hours each day. It is a helpful alternative for those clients who need intensive treatment yet cannot afford to be away from work. We offer both day and evening Intensive Outpatient Program options.

Individualized Outpatient

This program includes a variety of less-intensive program options that can be designed to meet each client's particular needs. One- to two-hour outpatient group sessions are available throughout the week.

Continuing Care

These weekly groups are designed for the last level of care prior to discharge from the continum. These sessions focus heavily on relapse prevention.
